Rebecca was born in Sutton, in Surrey, England.
She went to primary school at Barrow Hedges Primary School and secondary school at Greenshaw High School and Wallington Girls sixth form. She graduated with a 1st BA degree in Graphic Design in June 2006 University for the Creative Arts. Between 2008 and 2010 Rebecca studied for a Masters degree in Fashion Photography The London College of Fashion. And was awarded a distinction, she exhibited her final masters project called 'Edenias' at London's Mall Gallery.

Rebecca Litchfield got a job working for a portrait studio on completion of her BA degree, working full time in the studio between June 2006 and April 2008 helped her gain experience working with camera and lighting equipment and working with clients. During this time she passed studio photography and retouching qualifications within the company with distinctions and won various internal awards for her accomplishments as a studio photographer.
She would do photo shoots with models to work on her portfolio in her spare time and built up a collection of creative images. It was at this stage she decided that fashion photography was her opportunity to express as an art form her love of photographing people. It was at this stage she was accepted to study for a masters degree at The London College of Fashion. On completion of this and her decision to become a fully freelance photographer, her professional career developed quickly, she was taken on by an agent in London One Stop Creative and did various shoots to include a front cover of Katie Melua for The Sunday Times. Some of her other clients have include Safehouse, Charbon London, Beefeater Gin, Samantha Cole London and Zekaryas Solomon.
Her distinctive and highly creative fashion editorials have been published in various magazines to include Schön! Magazine, Sublime Magazine, Stylist, Chaos, Iconography and Faceon.

In 2009 Rebecca won Professional Photography Magazines 'Professional Photographer of the Year 2009' Winning the fashion category and the competition overall. She went on to win the editorial category in 2010
